Larry Bandt

Director Of Engineering

 

Mr. Bandt has nearly two decades of experience in the development, design, construction, and operation of power generating facilities using geothermal binary and flash cycle technologies, gas turbine simple and combined cycle technologies, and diesel engine driven technologies.  Prior to his affiliation with Integral Energy Management, Mr. Bandt provided technical consulting services for various commercial and industrial customers, both domestic and international, primarily in the area of renewable power generation.  Tasks performed include project technical due diligence, technical support for PPA submittals and negotiations, preliminary conceptual project design, control system design, low and medium voltage electrical design, and power project construction, startup, and commissioning.  In the area of control system design, Mr. Bandt has designed, programmed, and commissioned numerous digital control system installations, both new and retrofit installations, tightly integrating virtually all aspects of the projects into a single seamless unit.  Mr. Bandt also has extensive experience in project operations and previously was employed by Geothermal Management Services and Caithness Energy as a Project Manager overseeing and directing all aspects of power plant design and operations.  During the same time period, Mr. Bandt also served as the primary Electrical Design Engineer for both companies.

 

Mr. Bandt holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada and has completed graduate level coursework in Electrical Engineering, also at the University of Nevada.  Mr. Bandt is a member of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor Society Eta Kappa Nu and is registered in the state of Nevada as an Engineer in Training.  Mr. Bandt has authored several papers in the field on non-linear control system design methodologies and applications.

 

Frank Misseldine

Director of Project Development

 

Mr. Misseldine has served in various high level administrative and business positions during his 25 year association with the energy related projects. During this time frame, Mr. Misseldine has been directly involved with a variety of tasks ranging from project due diligence and preliminary feasibility assessments to negotiations pertaining to power purchase agreements, tolling, inter-connection, and Operation and Maintenance agreements. Additionally, Mr. Misseldine has been responsible for ground up project development, preparation and monitoring of forecasts, budgets, and financial statements as well as direction of auditing and procurement related activities. Mr. Misseldine is knowledgeable in a wide range of permitting and licensing procedures, project development, land and lease issues, and construction activities associated with both private and government related projects. Most recently, Mr. Misseldine served as the primary contact for Nevada Geothermal Power Company and was directly responsible for the development and preparation of submissions for Utility Request for Proposals that resulted in negotiations with the utility and successful award of renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements.

Prior to his association with Integral Energy Management, LLC, Mr. Misseldine served as Asset Manager for Geothermal Management Services, Precursor Systems, Caithness Energy, Oxbow Power Services, and Morrison Knudsen.

Mr. Misseldine holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Idaho State University.  Mr. Misseldine is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Idaho.

                 

Ted De Rocher

Director of Resource & Research

            

Mr. De Rocher was formerly the Research & Development Director for Caithness Operating Company, LLC with management responsibility over both R&D and EH&S programs - including 820 MW of renewable energy capacity utilizing wind, geothermal and solar technologies.  Mr. De Rocher has over 19 years of domestic and international experience in green- and brown-field project development, regulatory affairs, environmental permitting, operations, resource management, engineering, and research.
